According to some leaked photos posted on Twitter, the next Samsung Note phone will have a dual lens camera. A photo of the front of a Samsung black Note8 was posted on Twitter on Monday. Later, the front and back images of the gold and black versions of the phone, was also posted.
These photos display a dual lens camera at the back of the phone. The mobile’s also has an edge-to-edge display across the width of the device coupled with thin bezels at its top and bottom.
The photos are early renderings of the phones and historically, the renderings have been quite accurate.
The device a 6.3-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity display. The power-lock screen key is on the right side of the phone. On the left side, are the volume buttons and the key for accessing Samsung’s Bixby digital assistant.
Along with the dual cameras, the phone also has a dual LED, fingerprint scanner, dual tone flash and, probably also a heart-rate scanner. Speculations are that there will be two versions of the device – one with Samsung’s Exynos 8895 64-bit octa-core chip, and another with a Snapdragon 835 64-bit octa-core SoC.
This phone is expected to have a 3,500-mAh battery, 6 GB of RAM, and a 64 GB or 128 GB of expandable internal memory. It will probably run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat with the additional customary Samsung UI.
Apart from its bigger size than the recently released Galaxy S8, there isn’t a lot of physical difference between the devices, barring the presence of the S Pen.
The most distinguishing feature at this point seems to be the dual camera, which, a lot of companies are adopting for their current-gen smart phones.
